The new "Move Thread dropdown" is a major improvement to the UI as it means that Moderators moving posts can now quickly change from their usual List of forums to move to (in my case TechNet) to another List of forums (typically MSDN) without needing to mess around in the URL by replacing technet with msdn etc.
So Kudos to the team for that.
However ...
I was recently on holiday in Spain and using Internet Cafés which meant that my OS and IE were in Spanish and thus I had a Spanish UI when processing the forums. This was mostly no problem as my Spanish is at least good enough to understand the menu and sidebar options, BUT when it came to moving a forum the only forums listed for me to move to were Spanish language forums and the Move Thread dropdown (which I saw when I got home) wouldn't have helped me either as that shows only the Spanish language forums in TechNet / MSDBN etc.
Given that there aren't foreign language forums for many products, I suggest that when you spot a foreign language IE copy and thus automatically give the list of that language's Move Thread options, you extend the Move Thread dropdown to include as well as the foreign language options, the English language options.
So the drop down would then be
MSDN
TechNet
etc.
(all of which would point at that foreign language's forums)
MSDN-English
TechNet-English
etc.

Btw: On my third expensive Internet Café session I spotted that I could specify US English when in TechNet and then naturally as well as the English UI I had a US-English set of forums to move to. However this is a poor solution for people working in the Spanish forums who don't want to be switching back and forth between languages. The extended Move Thread dropdown would save them quite some effort.
