CRM Roles

Question
-
We are using CRM 4.0 update 3 and have a commissions entity that only specific people need to see. I have 3 users that only need to see their own commission statements in CRM and not the others. These users below belong to only 1 Role at the time being and that Role does not allow them to see commissions in general. Do i have to create a Role for each individual that wants to see their own commissions? Just looking for the easiest way. Thank in Advance Len

Yes, you are correct. When such user owns a commision, that user will see that commission. The user is not able to see other commisions with different owners.

Hi Len,
the easiest way is to allow them reading their own commisions by using the "User-access-level".
Just click on the Read-priviledge for commisions one time till there is a little yellow triangle.
Best regards,

Hello,
Is there a way to make a user an owner of his commissions if he is the owner of that account. My boss had created the commissions for the sales employee of which that sales employee is the contact/account owner but the commissions entry show my boss as the owner. Instead of going into each one is there a way to automate this process as stated the above.
Thanks in Advance
