Upgrading to Windows Live Mesh was interrupted and now Beta won't uninstall RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi - my Vista laptop automatically updated to Windows Live Essentials yesterday, but in the process of removing Live Mesh Beta appears to have run out of space on the hard drive for conflict folders. Live Mesh Beta is now attempting to operate as normal, but with no option of uninstalling it.

I removed the machine from the Live Desktop to see if that might help - it has, in that Mesh has stopped trying to copy my entire Music folder into the Conflicts folder - but then Mesh wanted a new name and tried to reconnect with the Live Desktop. Instructions elsewhere on this forum say to try re-installing Mesh but the livemesh.exe file is nowhere to be found, nor are the registry entries mentioned.

Can you help me please, to fully uninstall Live Mesh Beta so that I can get back to syncing my folders with my desktop?

    Many thanks.
