Why do I get the message 'You are not authorized to perform this action'?

Question
-
Recently I often experience that I get the message 'You are not authorized to perform this action' when I try to read topics. It hasn't been like this before so something must have changed.
It does not matter what kind of browser I use or which computer the browsers executes on so I guess it must be related to my identity.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
PS
An example of an url that gets me this error message is http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsazure/thread/2d1340ed-0ad0-456a-b069-aa6b85672102

Actually, this particular forum was locked AND for a while, set to private, so people couldn't actually access it, this should be corrected now from what I understand.

Yes, I noticed that but if I hover over the lock icon I get a tooltip that says 'This forum has been locked and set to read-only mode'.
Even though english is not my native language I interpret this as that it should still be possible to read the thread. I'm not trying to make a reply to the thread, just read it!!
