What will replace MCSD App Builder?

Question
-
The MCSD App Builder certification is retiring at the end of June 2020 accoding to the certifiaction page.
What will be the replacement for it? All I can see on the new Learn site are Azure/365 based certifications. Is there going to be a replacement focusing on ASP.NET and C# (among other things)?
Thanks
Matt

I have exactly the same question. Why is MS retiring exams without letting us know what's going to replace them? Or have they finally, having devalued the MCSD certification so many times, realized that it's pretty much worthless and given up on it as they have on so many other things?

Oh dear, it looks like I was right, the official announcement is here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/community-blog-post.aspx?BlogId=8&Id=375282&irgwc=1&OCID=AID2000142_aff_7593_1243925&tduid=(ir__nhfuj0zb2gkfrzjokk0sohz30n2xlq69xelzqzrp00)(7593)(1243925)(je6NUbpObpQ-re1TIRltE4jG.kdkbYvZWg)()&irclickid=_nhfuj0zb2gkfrzjokk0sohz30n2xlq69xelzqzrp00#FAQ&ranMID=24542&ranEAID=je6NUbpObpQ&ranSiteID=je6NUbpObpQ-re1TIRltE4jG.kdkbYvZWg&epi=je6NUbpObpQ-re1TIRltE4jG.kdkbYvZWg
and basically they're getting rid of MCSA, MCSD, MCSE and replacing it all with a single 'Azure Developer Associate' certification: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/learn/certifications/azure-developer?WT.mc_id=certtransslide-slide-wwl

I also asked the question in their Certification forum.....standard boilerplate response, diagram of all the new role based certs.

I'm going to keep at them though, I doubt I can cram and sit an entire MCSD before January (while also working full time) - so I want to know my options.
