C# Absolute Beginner Tutorials - Tier 2 (Are they outdated?)

  Didn't know where to put this, please tell me where.

   

  Here's my question:

   

  So I don't really have much/any prior programming experience, decided I want to learn C# so I went to MSDN/beginner, learnt the basics of it and now am ready to begin Tier 2 Beginner Series tutorial #1, however I noticed that they're all in VS 2005. I'm curious if the tutorials there are relevant anymore? Will there be too many differences and thus should I look somewhere else for a guide? I'm just not entirely sure what I should do now.
