Compiled Foxpro Program keeps asking to "Allow Internet Access" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

I recently loaded OneCare and now everytime I compile my FoxPro program and start it up, OneCare asks me to allow internet connection.

Click ok the first time and then again after recompiling it asks again.

The net result is that I sit with hundreds of my program allowed in the firewall.

Any ideas how to stop this?

    Regards

    Robert

  • You can't. The OneCare firewall sees every recompile as a new program. The only solutions are to manually remove the old entries every once in a while or turn off the firewall temporarily when you compile and test.
