Date format in rest response RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I query job properties with

    https://hpc-cluster/WindowsHPC/cluster_name/Job/573374?Properties=CreateTime

the response uses a locale date format:

    <Property><Name>ChangeTime</Name><Value>28.11.2016 08:24:06</Value></Property>

But filtering jobs needs ISO-format 2016-11-28T10:06:37Z:

    https://hpc-cluster/WindowsHPC/cluster_name/Jobs?%24filter=ChangeTimeFrom%20eq%202016-11-28T15%3A06%3A37Z&Render=RestPropRender

How can I configure the response to use ISO-format all the time?

  • Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your feedback. Currently we don't have the ability to configure time format in response. While the ChangeTimeFrom filter should also work with datetime other than ISO-format like

    https://hpc-cluster/WindowsHPC/cluster_name/Jobs?%24filter=ChangeTimeFrom%20eq%2028.11.2016 08:24:06&Render=RestPropRender

    Thanks,

  • Is there some reliable way to know what date format and timezone the server will use? It appears to be based off of some configuration on the server. Since some date formats are identical except with the month and day positions swapped, I would like to ensure that it is read correctly. Does the server send any information in the header or response to indicate what date format it used?

    Thanks,
