  • Question

  • Hi,

i hope someone is able to help me.

Today i connect from internet to my HomeServer, all seems ok.

During the remote connection the system hung itself up, and no more connection are available.

At home i restart the server, but while windows booting the screen stand still on showing "Windows Server 2003 Small Business". Only on booting safe mode i will be able to run WHS.

After activating bootlog ntbtlog.txt shows following rows:

Is there an option to repair my WHS, or does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem ?

I am grateful for each assistance.

  • Your only option is to re install WHS using the server reinstallation option. You will have to recreate users, remote access, custom settings, add-ins and also other customizations you have made to the server.

  • Thx for your answer, but i hoped to repair it without reinstallation.

Does a reinstallation will delete my shared folders ?

How does a reinstallation works ?

Works it like in normal installation ?

Exist there an option to repair while the installation process ?
