I just received the notice that my windows 7 is not genuine. I ordered this laptop online directly from the Dell website, having used them before and not had any problems. It came preinstalled with what was supposedly Genuine Window 7 Home Premium 64bit. Retyping the product key has changed nothing. I am genuinely confused about why I am receiving the notice and what I am supposed to do about it. Any help would be appreciated. Here is my diagnostic report:

You need to change the Key to the one on your COA sticker (which is either on the bottom of the laptop, or in the battery compartment), and activate the system - probably over the phone.To change the Product Key, go to the System Properties page, and use the link at the bottom - follow the instructions.If Internet activation fails, use telephone activation.Click on the Start button
in the Search box, type
SLUI 4
and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you.
