Error when scheduling Live meeting in outlook 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    Any help would be appreciated

I have a user on outlook 2007 scheduling a live meeting with 14 participants.  He gets an error that states

'You are scheduling a meeting eith more participants than are allowed to join.  The maximum is 10 participants"

This is news to me.  Where do i find out the max particiapants in a live meeting - also how is this error generated.  I dont get this error with 2003.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

within OCS 2007 you have meeting policies which are applied to meeting organizers. You can choose to assign a global policy or assign one per user.

By default there is a global policy called "Default Policy" which limits the meeting to 10 participants. You can either modify the exisiting default policy to increase that limit or assign a different policy with less restrictions (such as "Policy 1 (High)").

Have a look here for more information on how to do this:
