updates don't install RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I turn on my computer, I am prompted that I need to check for and install updates.  When I do, the updates are "installed."  But when I shut the computer down, I am prompted to install the updates.  When I do I get a message that it is "installing" 21 updates. Then when I restart the computer, the whole process starts over again.

    Any ideas?

  • Hello Rick, If you use the "Contacts" link in the left side column you can get live support.

  • My Contacts link doesn't have an option for live support.  The Contacts are blank.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • Go back to - http://support.microsoft.com/ph/6527#tab0 and near the bottom of the page use the link under "Need more help?" that says "Contact a support professional by e-mail, online, or phone"
