Mitel 3300 and COmmunicator as Enpoint Client RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I have a Mitel 3300 IP/PBX. I have configured a sip trunk whenever a internal person dials 3120. THis then send diverts the call to a OCS Mediation Server we have. IN doing a trace, everything seems fine but it ends wothout somewhere to send the call to.

Here is a piece of the trace :

    TL_INFO(TF_COMPONENT) [1]0E80.0D10::05/16/2007-10:35:13.951.00000009 (MediationServer,ProxyStream.ProcessConnectivityStateChangedEvent:372.idx(1553))( 00D4C399 )$$START-MEDIATIONSERVER

    MediationCall: 88a77efac1a9417d9702739950702a08

    CallId: 4f3c308d-f337-490d-90c5-21827780f677

    From: sip:3005@i5.int;user=phone

    To: sip:3120;phone-context=Johannesburg-Head-Office@i5.int;user=phone

    Direction: Inbound

    Start-Line: Endpoint ConnectivityStateChanged state: LocalEndpointsAllocated

    $$END-MEDIATIONSERVER

fro the trace it seems as if it is not resolving 3120 to a user at the end of the day

I want the call to go to a communicator user. I have setup the phone settng in AD as 3012 and am not sure what the syntax should be for the line uri. Sould this be Tel:3012 or this meant to be something else.

Your help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Glen

  • The syntax for the line URI should be tel:+3120 (or whatever the number is)

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

  • HI,

We are trying to do the same configuration but even if everything seams to be properly configured when connecting from an IP-Phone to an comunicator user  nothing is working. We believe there must be something wrong in the SIP Peer Profile in the Mitel side. Can't you send me what options did you check, or uncheck, in the SIP Peer Profile Configuration Menu?

    Thanks in advance
