  • Has anyone out there been able to find working drivers for the VisionTek X1300 256MB PCIe card?

  • Hi,
if the maker does not supply drivers for Windows Server 2003, you can sometimes try to install the Windows XP drivers (generic drivers from the video chip maker - ATI?).
If the setup program rejects to install on WHS due to different operating system, right click on the setup program and select Properties. On the compatibility tab select Windows XP. Confirm the selection and try to run setup again.

If this also does not work, the last chance would be to expand the driver package and copy the related inf and driver files.

Be also aware, that this is not supported and can cause your WHS to go down, if the drivers are not fully compatible. Besides that, since you should never access your server desktop directly, there is not much need to apply special video drivers.
