Record and playback MTM OK button

Hi - am a new MTM user, struggling to get record and playback on TFS for the action of clicking 'OK' button off the back of clicking a 'Cancel' button. Cannot determine if its not possible or I need to learn a workaround. Have reviewed some Q&A but so far not got the answer.
