Can anyone tell me how I can cancel my Windows Live Hotmail Plus service without being sent on a wild goose chase to multiple websites and given multiple customer service numbers which do not resolve the issue? I've read countless stories fom others who have experienced this frustration trying ti cancel an account, so I want to avoid the pitfalls!
I keep getting a warning that my hotmail service will be interrupted because my credit card needs to update to renew the Plus service. Thank goodness my card expired, because I would have been wrongly charged for a service I have wanted to cancel for months. Whenever I go to the billing website it is "down" and provides no alternative way of reaching a customer service representative. Clearly, because this site is always "down", Windows has no intention of allowing customers easy access to cancel their account in a timely manner before recharging them for unwanted services.
