Small Business Server 2000 C.O.A. License Question - Second hand computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have recently purchased a second hand server computer and the hard disk that is in it is broken. The case has a C.O.A. sticker on it. I would like to know, if I took it to a computer store and got a new hard disk and got them to install another copy onto the computer using the C.O.A. Sticker license number, does this make it a legal copy? I will be grateful for your replies. Thank you.

  • As long as you have the COA, product key and the Windows Small Business Server 2003 installation disc, you can reinstall it on a new hard drive.
