Office XP Version 2002 Academic Edition Failing Genuine Validation RRS feed

  • My Office XP Version 2002 Academic Edition which was purchased at my school (Midland's Techinical College in Columbia, SC) in 2001 or 2002 (I can't remember) is failing the genuine validation.  When I click for more information on the failed screen, it tells me I need to activate Office.  Even though I knew it was already activated, I followed the instructions and went into Office and clicked on the Activate Product link under Help.  Of course a box pops up that says "This product has already been activated."
