Problem when installation OCS RRS feed

  • There is an error message pop-up when installing OCS as below.

    Invalid database access accounts specified. Please ensure the specified database access accounts are valid domain or machine accounts.

    What can i do?

  • Are you installing with a Domain Account with sufficient permissions?

  • Do you install the OCS Enterprise Edition Server? So remote SQL. How does your SQL services running? Network / Local. did you check if the user account can create the RTC databases in SQL?

  • Can you verify that the local group "RTC Local Administrators" exists on your OCS machine.

    Is EXCELGROUP a member server?

    OCS is not supported on a Domain Controller
