hello,
for some reason when I double-click on my mouse, it launches a 'search' as opposed to opening the folder... how can i revert it to 'open' instead?

Hi,
Try these steps:
1. Go to Start, Run
2. Type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
3. Press Enter
