emailing documents and photos RRS feed

  • I can not email documents or photos that are stored on my desk top.


    I have Vista Home Edition.


    I  click on my documents and than clicked the email icon and nothing happens.

    I also can not send any pictures that are stored on my desk top.


    I can send emails in the Window Mail program and

    I can also send photos using my Easy Share Digital Camera Program, but as I said


    I can not send any documents or photos that are stored on my desk top.


    Any help would really be appreciated.

  • I'm not entirely sure what is happening based on your description. It seems to me that you have shortcuts of files, and not actual files on the desktop. In which case you right click on the icon for Properties, and tell it to Find Target to get you the original files.

    The workaround for your problem if they are actual files residing on the desktop, is to simply move them several levels down, for example to the My Documents folder and try emailing from there again.

    If neither of these work out, please state the problems you have encountered in details and we can try to figure something out.
