status healthy but backup status unknown RRS feed

  • Symptoms: after removing a failing drive:

    Backup status for all computers is unknown

    Repairing backup database and rebooting does not solve the problem

    in settings=backup it states that the service is not running, but it is runninG

    Performing backup from client computer reports no problems and seems to work, only backup not vissible in WHS console

    On mediacenter client it not reports copying recordings to the server. But it does, i can find all recordings on the server.

    Everything seems to be working, only the WHS console seems to have lost connection with backup database. But network health is ok

    Any suggestions are very welcome


    ps: the mediacenter client is working fine again
