Hi,
I've been investigating an issue in CRM 2011 whereby users have to click most areas twice to get any response from the application (e.g. loading an Account record or using a toolbar button etc.)
Two similar posts are available:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-gb/crmdeployment/thread/7fecdc1a-7563-48da-ac47-ac22a9d507ce
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-GB/crm/thread/7976fb01-4a2d-41af-8162-f9dce62ce6e4
Using the detail from these posts I think I have found the cause of the issue in most circumstances. It appears to be caused by IIS Compression being disabled. This could occur at a proxy level (as in some of the replies to the posts above),
or IIS itself.
Our application servers have CRM 2011 and Sharepoint, including Project Server 2007. An issue in PS2007 requires compression to be disabled (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947899) which obviously
conflicts with the apparent requirement for CRM 2011 to have compression enabled.
Does anybody have any thoughts on how CRM 2011 could co-exists with PS2007 on the same web server?
Cheers,
Richard Ward
