IFD Issue: Can't Access from Outside RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have setup CRM/SQL on one server and ADFS on a second server. ADFS is on 444 and CRM on 443/80. When I am on the LAN and navigate to https://[orgname].[domain].com it redirects me to https://adfs.[domain].com:444 and shows me the CRM login screen.

However, when I am on the WAN and navigate to https://[orgname].[domain].com the browser stays at that address and give me the error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Note that the router forwards port 443 (and 80) to the server with CRM and 444 to the server with ADFS. I believe this is how it should be.

  • Hi hfaun,

I think the port 444 and 443 are blocked in your router.

By default in router these ports are blocked, so you need to enable these ports for incoming and outgoing traffic on these ports.

    Thanks & Regards,

  • Thanks for the reply. The router was not the issue as these ports were open. It turns out that adfs.[domain].com was pointing to the wrong IP address. After fixing that it worked.
