customizing OCS 2007 R2 end user messages when calls missed RRS feed

  • Question

  • We need to customize Office Communications Server 2007 notification messages such as missed calls that OCS sends to end users.

Our end users are receiving automated Outlook messages (convertation history) from Office Communications Server 2007 R2 for example when they miss calls or talk to somebody. But we need to customize the text inside this messages and add some more information. Is it possible to customize these messages on OCS 2007 R2?

  • There is no native interface to change that message content, but I'll ask the product team to see if it's even possible via some custom API or development process, or if the contents come from a non-editable source file in OCS.
