Retrieve computer backups from previous server install

Question
-
Greetings,
I suppose this is a long-shot, but I am hoping that there is a way to do it. My WHS 2011 began to have several issues and I thought it would be easiest if I just reinstalled the server. I still have the client backups from the previous server install, and now I really need to be able to access them as I had a raid array fail on another machine. I hope this makes sense what I am asking, please feel free to inquire for more details, I appreciate any and all responses.
Thanks,
Bear

Not sure if it will work but try copying the contents of your old Client Computer Backups folder to the new one. Then, using the Dashboard, in the Computers and backups Tab, select "Additional client computer tasks". Under "Tools" select "Repair backups". Let us know if that works.

as Phil said if you want to use your old backups you stop the 2 windows server backup services, delete all the files, copy in your complete old data and reboot.
If you have started some new backups you cant merge them
