Sharepoint 2010: pages loading very slow RRS feed

    • Pages to the SharePoint 2010 environment load one time very quickly and are equal on the screen, the next time these same pages load very slowly and sometimes only after several seconds on the screen.
    • A specific document library (Contract) sometimes load very slowly (or not).

    What we have tried:

    • Expansion memory WFE and APP servers to 24GB
    • Object and output caching enabled
    • IIS request timeout increased from 120s to 500s
    • Tested to strip out the Load Balancer (KEMP), no result

    The environment:

    This is a SharePoint 2010 server farm: 2 WFE servers, 1 APP server, 1 SQL cluster.

    The SharePoint servers are virtual machines on Hyper-V running Windows 2008 R2 SP1.
