Verify License Keys/Codes Microsoft Software and Xbox

Question
-
Hello,
Has anyone found a way for people to submit license codes/keys to an application/API and verify they are valid?
I remember being able to check them on the Zune desktop app, but is there some sort of API for that verification available?
If they are not or have already been used is there a way to send back when it was used?
This can apply with any Microsoft License Key/Code or Xbox Live Membership/Digital Copy Codes.
Thank you in advance

Hi spursfan353,
Were you developing UWP app? Did you want to find some relevant APIs to get license information in UWP?
