How to normalize inbound calls RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
Is it poosible to create a set of normalization rules and have them selected on inbound calls. The problem is that we don't have permission to change the phonenumbers in AD to E164 format. If this is possible how can I accomplish this? The phonenumbers are in format +xx xxx xxx xx

  • You can leave the numbers in their existing format and normalize them in OCS via the Address Book Service.

Take a look at this blog article: http://blogs.pointbridge.com/Blogs/schertz_jeff/Pages/Post.aspx?_ID=26

  • You could create a special location profile with normalitaion rules for inbound calls and assign it at mediation server.
