CRM 2011 Online Email Router Incming Profile and SBS 2003 RRS feed

    I have setup the EMail Router for CRM online and all seems to be well accept for the incoming profile.  Each time I test access, I get the below error

    Incoming Status: Failure - The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure

    I have tried the server URL (https://SBSserver) in IE and I can get to the SBS configuration screen.  There was a certificate error but I have since put the certificate in the trust authority store.  I have even used the full address that is in the certificate (SBSserver.domain.com) but I still get the same error.

    I do not know what to try next as I do not know much about SBS.  Please help.

  • I have just found this post looking for something else.  This was eventually resolved by using a proper certificate as opposed to using a signed certificate.
