is Vista 70-620 a waste of time? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hy everyone,

I'm new to IT certs and  I'm currently studying to take the Vista 70-620 exam, but I still keep wondering....is it a waste of time and money going for this certificate since Windows 7 is already out there ?

I'm thinking of getting MCITP: EST by the end of November and I dont know if I should end my thoughts of vista and move on to windows 7

    Thanks.

  • Am also planning to take the exam, but an experienced programmer in my office adviced me to take Windows 7 instead.I think its good to familiarise one's self with the exam so its worth trying,no certification in this present age is a waste of time.

  • If you plan to learn further then Vista exam will make it much easier when you'll sit Windows 7 exam. If you intend to use it just like a credentials for some exam track then I'd go for Windows 7 exam.
