Creating my first ASP.net web app in Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2013 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Ok...Brand new to Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2013 and creating my first ASP.net web application. I have created web apps before, but stand alone using Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express.

I am banging around...but does anyone have any suggestions as to some good web sites or YouTubes that might bring me up to speed really quick...and I'm talking about like copying and pasting toolbox items...moving them around my form...aligning them so that they snap with one another...stuff like that. Just getting started these are some of the growing pains I've experienced so far. Much different than Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express. And I'm sure some of this are options that I might have to set-up upon first use.

Thanks in advance for your review and am hopeful for a reply.

  • Hi,

    Welcome to MSDN forum.

I am afraid that the issue is out of support range of VS General Question forum which mainly discusses the usage of Visual Studio IDE such as WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System and Visual Studio Editor.

As far as I know, we need drag controls from Toolbox to the web form in web application manually. As for whether there are quick method to align those controls to make them snap with one another, you can consult on ASP.NET forum: http://forums.asp.net/  for better solution and support. Web Development experts should provide you some suggestions.

    Thanks,
