  • Hi Vijay,

There are two types of excel reports Static And Dynamic - Static Worksheet will store the actual data in Excel where as Dynamic will query the data from server whenever the excel is opened.

Since your workgroup domain users does not have access to ABC domain and hence access to CRM, they are getting error message.

Please save the excel as Static Worksheet.

  • It is possible for users in the domain 'Workgroup' to open a Dynamic worksheet, but the following condittions must be met:

    • The domain 'ABC' must trust the domain 'Workgroup'
    • The users must be CRM users, for their active directory account in the domain 'Workgroup'
    • These active directory accounts must be a member of the CRM AD group 'ReportingGroup', which will be in the domain ABC. With a default CRM configuration, CRM should have added these accounts automatically, but this may be turned-off
