Question

Hello,
We are facing a problem for some clients. The install did go well, and outlook is connected.
Some entities are showing well, but for example when go to contact it is giving us an error. (CRM fails to load)
Any help would be appreciated.

Is there somebody that can help me out?
I found more information about this problem here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/emeadcrmsupport/archive/2011/07/14/crm-2011-fails-to-load.aspx
But the suggested resolutions did not help me. Reinstalling office is not really an option..
Thanks in advance!

Hi Robin,
To troubleshoot the issue download and run fiddler, open outlook and navigate to contacts check what fiddler logs? perhaps an authentication issue?
A few things to try:
- Is this an Outlook client upgrade? if yes, make sure you delete the old registry keys
- have you tried giving the user admin permissions just to check if something is missing on the security role? - if it resolves the problem then look for security role permissions
- have you tried configuring the Outlook client with http://servername ? instead of http://url - if it resolves the problem, check if the URL is listed under your trusted or local sites in IE and make sure the authentication settings are correct.
let us know what you find.

Hi nrodri

- No it is not an upgrade.
- have you tried giving the user admin permissions just to check if something is missing on the security role? - if it resolves the problem then look for security role permissions
- Yes already tried that.
- have you tried configuring the Outlook client with http://servername ? instead of http://url - if it resolves the problem, check if the URL is listed under your trusted or local sites in IE and make sure the authentication settings are correct.
- That is impossible, as those clients are connected to CRM Online.
Thanks for you help!
