We purchased two new computers three weeks ago with Windows Vista Ultimate. When I went through this process a week ago to get the Epson printer for the Ultimate purchase free after rebate, the validation went smoothly. I lost my rebate paper, however, and am now unable to get it because Microsoft shows my computer as not valid anymore. I tried this on the second computer as well and am getting the same message.
The rebate form for the printer needs to be returned soon (I think within 15 days of purchase), but I cannot do that now. I made the purchase over a week ago, got it a couple of days ago, and am worried I will not be able to collect on the rebate.
