Integration with MGCP based PBX RRS feed

    Our IP-PBX is is using MGCP as oppose to SIP we have a mixed environment with IP phones and gateways to analog phones. All I am looking for is to be able to dial from OC2007 and update OCS with presence based on the phone status.

    Do I need to replace our PBX with OCS2007 - the Hw is the same or is there another easier way to do the above?

    Can you give us more information about your environment? Do you have OCS installed and working now?

    OCS was not made to replace a PBX, just to provide extra capabilities and features.

    We are starting a global deployment of OCS2007 and in US we have a unix/MGCP based PBX called FacetPhone. What we are looking to do is to be able to dial from communicator as well as update communicator with status on the phoneline.

    In other countries we have either Analog PBXes or SIP based PBXes.
