Windows 7 (Prof.) Build 7600 This copy of Windows is not genuine

Question

Hi
I have an asus laptop, purchased in November '09 which had the update to 7 pre-installed by techs, which is now displaying the black screen with "Build 7600 This copy of Windows is not genuine". It was fine until yesterday, I had the screen replaced about a month ago but that shouldn't be related. I've checked some of the other forums so I see i'm not the only one, and I've run the diagnostic that seems to have been mentioned on those

The techs installed a non-genuine version of Windows - it's an MSDN Blocked Key.Please read the Blocked Keys sticky at the head of the forum index page.
