Forza Motorsport 2 Goes Gold, Demo Hits Xbox Live RRS feed

  • Question

  • Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 2 has gone gold and left the developer's garage for the multiplication process. In addition, a demo of the game's campaign mode is already making tracks on Xbox Live.

The game has been developed Microsoft's Turn 10 Studios, a team also involved in the development of "Forza Motorsport," "Project Gotham Racing" and "RalliSport Challenge."

Forza Motorsport 2 will feature over 300 cars, 12 tracks, extensive customization options, “unparalleled physics”, Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel support and a frame-rate of 60 frames per second.

    Tracks in Forza Motorsport 2:
    - Mugello Autodromo Internazionale
    - Suzuka Circuit
    - Sebring International Raceway
    - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
    - Tsukuba Circuit
    - Road Atlanta
    - Silverstone Circuit
    - Nürburgring Nordschleife
    - MapleValleyRaceway
    - SunsetPeninsulaInfield
    - New York Circuit
    - Test Track

Aside from the usual “tune, trade, paint and collect favorite cars”, players will also have the opportunity to share and sell their custom creations on the "Forza Motorsport 2" online Auction House.

Forza Motorsport 2 will be released on May 29 and it will have a price tag of $59.99.
