No more windows sound on VB6 software msgbox RRS feed

  • I dunno how but now my msgbox inside vb6 and all the vb6 compiled programs no longer as the windows sound when critical arrest etc. I think is a windows problem. How i can revert it?

  • In order to check and adjust the system sounds, go to Control Panel and find the category related to sounds. There is a dialog which allows you to change the sounds, such as Asterisk, Exclamation, etc. which are probably related to messages boxes, depending on used icons.

  • I tried to change sounds but nothing happen. Still no sound in every VB6 programs compiled or not. These sounds work fine during windows critical arrest but is only on Visual Basic 6 software that no longer work
