off topic - Family Safety - Blocking Slingbox at home and away

Family safety program blocking access to my slingbox. as soon as i uninstall then no problem. Activity shows internal IP address, but my guess is that it is using Slingmedia's finder service to locate the slingbox.
there is no area for "exception program or trusted program" in family safety. Added exe to windows firewall but... not luck.
Help.
