    I downloaded Windows 8 Pro as part of my Action Pack Subscription and installed it on a DVD disk. When I tried to install it I got an error message "Setup has failed to apply migration data" at "Moving your settings  25%"

    I was trying to upgrade from Windows 7 Pro on my Dell XPS M1330 32 bit with 4.00GB memory. My computer is set up for automatic updates and I was connected to the internet when I tried the installation. I also have over 150Gb free disk space. Need help.

    This worked for me:
    Free up more disk space than the wizard checks for. It said to free up 20GB but after it downloaded the windows 8 iso it went down to 16GB again. So I freed up 4GB more and the error went away.
