Need to see reported threads in multiple forums in a list RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have moderator permission in dozens of forums on MSDN and Technet. To see reported threads (e.g. spam or off-topic) I not only have to go to each forum, but also have to jump sites (MSDN/Technet, English/Chinese).

I'd like to see reported threads in one place, e.g. add a filter in My Forums Threads to show reported threads in the forums I moderate.

The following is signature, not part of post
Please mark the post answered your question as the answer, and mark other helpful posts as helpful, so they will appear differently to other users who are visiting your thread for the same problem.

  • I presume Sheng Jiang means the threads marked as Abusive (the things he mentions are a couple of the sub-options for Abusive posts).

I agree 100% - this ought to be possible at My Threads level or at the very least at the level of all the forums in a set of forums (the latter would cover what I need). It is a real pain needing to go to one forum; open it; check for Abusive posts and then repeat for the next forum and the next and the next ...

(So it doesn't happen as often as it perhaps should happen)

Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters

It would also be helpful if the authors of posts marked as abusive could be advised when this happens. If not practical, a reasonable alternative would be for users to be able to easily see a list of their posts that had been flagged. This would allow them to take corrective action and/or respond in a more timely fashion.
