Add a custom column to an email received dynamics crm 2011 RRS feed

  • I want to add an editable field to the email entity within Dynamics CRM 2011, however once I have added the field to the form then open an email to update this field it is readonly - I cannot type into it.

    I assume this is because the status is set to completed, so how do I make it so I can add data to this field?

  • I have added the field and can update via a dialog or workflow but is there a workaround to write direct to it?
