Dynamics Unified Service Desk 2013 - The Form entity, what can it do? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
I am experimenting with the Unified Service Desk for CRM 2013 and have found the customization made on the Form entity. The example solutions don't appear to have any records of this type, nor is the documentation mentioning it. The Form entity has for example a markup-field and a N:N relationship with HostedControl entity.

My simple question is: What does the Form entity do and how can I use it in my USD solution?

    Thanks in advance.

  • The form entity is a way to allow you to use HTML or XAML + replacement parameters and USD Actions to create a UI in USD, without having to write a hosted control.

We are working on documentation for that area of USD and will publish it as we can.
