HTC s710 not connect with laptop

Hi everyone,
I have a htc s710 wm6 when i connect it to my laptop, the message comes that usb not recognized.I install activesync but problem is still there.I want to transfer data from laptop to phone or vise versa. Please tell me can i do this with any remote access tool if there is any possibility to that plz tell me or any other solution of my problem plz advice me.

3. Google Sync through Activesync from within your device (You need wifi)
open Activesync
Press Menu and selecr Add Server Source
enter your gmail address e.g. SweetAdii@gmail.com
press next
on User Name enter again your email address SweetAdii@gmail.com
on Password your Password
Press next
If It will try to auto configure press skip
on Server Address enter m.google.com
press next
select Contacts
Select Calendar
Leave ALL other fields CLEAR - DO NOT Check them
press finish
then press Sync!
