Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit suddenly not valid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Windows7 64bit ultimate

Symptoms new profile everytime I log on and old profiles are blank

Cause. My account was a memeber of Domain Guests.

Removed my account from that group and removed profiles from registry.

rebooted twice and all is well - using same prfile, but now windows states it is not valid

    sfc /scannow  finds no issues

Ideas on how to tell windows it's valid outside of reinstalling?

Hardware is Dell Laptop, 4GIG Ram ridiculously big harddrive average video (will give exact specs if needed)

  • Hey that's OK.

Since the debacle with my account being in the domain guest security group and gpo security and how SID's are generated, I decided it quicker to just re install the OS.

Wiped the laptop, re installed and all is well.

I will download the MGADiag.exe for future reference.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, the installed Windows 7 Ultimate license is non-genuine.  It is a "not-for-resale"  MSDN Subscription  license.  You need to contact the seller immediately and demand a 100% refund!

    From your MGA Report:

    Windows Product ID: 00426-065-4864364-86723

Please review: Blocked Keys  and Purchasing Genuine Microsoft Software

You can purchase genuine Microsoft Windows 7 software from the  Microsoft Store.
