We are facing issues with duplication of activities(appointments and phonecalls) in outlook and it has been quite sometime. We have tried different rollup's but of no help.
Some of the users continuously report of hundreds of activities getting duplicated in outlook. The mobile devices that they use varies so we think that duplication is independent of the devices used by them. We deleted the duplicate activities for these
users but they were created again.
It is really difficult to understand the cause of the issue,
1. Does the duplication happen at the Server side and then outlook synchronizes the activities.
2. Can it be the mobile devices which user use for synchronizing outlook with MS CRM? We have different users using different kind of devices. Microsoft says that this is due to device. But we do not have any reason from them.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
Where should we start looking for the issue?
