my vista will not run my Lexmark X1185 printer what can I do?

I have tried to reload the program but it will not reconise it and I have tried to add printer and still nothing. I just got the sound to stay on now. It is a good program but it has so many problems that I think that I need to go back to XP to have the things that I want.

bonjour eddie,j'ai le meme probleme. j'ai compris que nous devons annuler toutes les copies demandees anterieurement. annuler le tout , trop chargé.voici je ne peux le faire car il faut aller dans bookmark-notepads et je ne peux pas y aller, je n'y arrive pas , je ne sais pas! rendu la.!!

qui peut nous aider......gizele xx

p.s. (je suis avec window xp et mon inprimante est un lexmark 1200)
