VOIP Sound Quality RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are using Office Communications Server 2007 in a test phase and although we have the IM working well we are having dificulty with the VOIP side. We are not linking to our PBX at the moment (future maybe) we just want to offer internal PC to PC calling facility.

We can make the calls but the quality is terrible. You can hardly hear the conversation for the noise on the lines.

Is there a way to improve this?

We are usign USB VOIP Phones. Model E337.

I have looked into the management snapin for OCS and noticed that the Audio Quality setting is set to 40. How do we change this value?
