Pass parameters from one plugin to another crm 2011 RRS feed

    is it possible to pass parameters from plugin1 registered on entity1 to plugin2 registered on entity2 ?

    As far as I know, this is not possible through shared variable approach.

    What exactly you are looking for ?

  • As long as they share the same context, SharedVariable can be used for the same. Read the article.

  • SharedVariables won't work in this scenario, as plugins registered on different entities will necessarily have a different context.

    How are the two plugins related ? Is it that the code in one plugin submits a message via the IOrganizationService that causes the second plugin to fire ? If so, the only option is to find a means to include the data you want to pass as part of the message (e.g. by creating a dummy attribute)
